Extremely fast and very respectful! The gentleman got to us in less than 20 minutes. We weren't stranded and yet they treated us with priority and respect. It has been an insane day all together, but they made our day. We were locked out of my car and they were able to unlock it with no damage done at all to my car.
My husband took his truck in to be looked at, Ricks was quick and helpful. They let us know what the problem was right away and they also let us keep my husband's truck parked up there until we decided what we were going to do. We ended up deciding to go to another shop. We paid Ricks the $98 fee for taking a look, and another $50 fee for them to tow it to the other shop across town, (Maybe 2 miles away if that) Not a problem, i understand they have a $50 minimum for towing. Well, instead of the driver taking the truck to the other shop, he took it to our house (which is litterally 2 blocks away) on accident. I get it, it was an accident, easy fix as long as it gets to the other shop before closing time, right??.... It has been well over 3 hours and they have STILL not come to pick the truck up and take it to the right place. I am pretty disappointed. Now BOTH places are going to be closed and we are stuck.
UPDATE : I have since taken the truck to another mechanic, who found that the A-arm bolts were loose, and ball joint stripped. The noise I have been hearing was in fact CAUSED by Ricks. So now I'm out money for repairs that didn't work, an alignment, more diagnostic time elsewhere, and now paying for the same repairs and parts I have already paid Rick's for. I have contacted Ricks to see what they will be able to do for me, and am awaiting a response. I will update accordingly.
I have used Rick's for many years and have always had a great experience. Excellent customer service and shop, I would highly recommend them to anyone needing their vehicles serviced.
Have used Ricks for the Past Four Years for several cars I have owned. Sure I could probably get work done cheaper elsewhere, but with Ricks I know the Parts are good quality and the work is done right. Yes some days it takes awhile for them to get to my car because they are busy... but they are busy because they are good!
Quality parts and polite workers, but very poor communication, listening skills, time management, and diagnostics. Had to repeat myself multiple times, and bring the vehicle back for a repeat issue. Scheduled an appointment a week in advance to be "the first one in" so could get my truck back asap. 4 hours later, they hadn't even looked at it yet, and I had to drive up there to find that out, because calling and asking questions got nowhere. Time to take business elsewhere.
