One of the worst experiences in 60 years. It starts with me seeing there was a VA Rep in town (Cleburne, Tx) so instead of going to the Dallas VA which is 60 miles away I decided to go to the VA Rep here. I stopped in and told the receptionist that I wanted to make a medical claim. I had done this once already for a diff issue. She said ok, I gave her all copies of the medical stuff from my doctor and a copy of my last approved claim . She says I will give this to the Rep and she will call if she needs anything else. 2 months later I call to see whats going on and she says the Rep has been sick but will be back on Monday , I set an appointment but had to cancel 5 mins later when I looked at my schedule , rescheduled for Tuesday April 11, 17. I went in for my appt, and the receptionist says the VA rep is not here she had to go to Burleson. She started with a bunch of forms for me to fill out and to say we are not affiliated with the VA, we just help Veterans that don't want to deal with the VA themselves. WHAT? Why did I just waist 2 months for? Sorry , but the Receptionist didn't have a clue what she was doing, and a memory shorter than my pinky finger. Don't waist your time unless that what you have!!! They need to tell people they are not VA affiliated and what they actually do at the start so we don't waist our time!
