Rather new to the practice. I really like the vet we have seen, super down to earth nice guy. I would say the front office staff could definitely be more friendly. Even though the vet is great, probably my favorite I've ever used, not sure we will continue going here due to the atmosphere "up front". When you're spending lots of money somewhere you want to feel welcome and treated kindly. I think some adjustments to the front desk staff could make this office an outstanding place.
A little more expensive than some places but well worth it! Usually no waiting, friendly and very knowledgeable staff. The Vets are awesome!
In less then a week I had to take my little pig to an emergency vet as she could barely stand up, hooves were dark purple, was so weak she wouldn’t even grunt, and wouldn’t eat to the point I was having to give her soft foods with a syringe. She ended up having a major infection inside from the surgery that had made its way into her blood stream and dropped almost 5 lbs in just those few days.
Very pleasant atmosphere. Great staff, very caring. Best place to take your pet(s).
My furbaby has been with North Side since 2010. Always pleased with the services he renders from the clinic. I always see great improvement. He's had bladder issues and kidney stones cured then reoccured again 7 years later. Now under treatment again and also tested heart worm positive.
Brought my mini pig in to be spayed and have her feet trimmed while she was under. When I picked her up, first off I could hear multiple employees talking bad about her while I sat waiting for her in one of the examination rooms. I blew it off because it wasn’t important and not everyone likes the same animals. But when I took her out to my car I noticed that every little toe had been clipped so far that every single one was bleeding. I did go back in and complain right then and took her home to take care of her. I would like to point out that the lady at the front desk was as sweet and as apologetic as could be even though it wasn’t her fault at all!!
If I could give zero stars I would as I will never be back. My family had brought one of our horses here years ago and was highly disappointed but I decided it had been a while and hopefully things had gotten better. I was wrong.
Thankful to the vet who actually knew what she was doing and saved my little girl’s life. Who actually took the time to call up to northside and tell them what was going on and to take better precautions. I will from now on drive the two hours to the correct vet then ever go back here.
